Esencia is a large, natural 2.25-acre property situated directly on the main kiteboarding beach of Provo. It has great winds and warm, shallow and safe waters ideal for surfing kites. The beach is almost empty and except for a few other kiters and the horses going by, you’re almost on your own. Here you have that perfect psychic space where you can come back to yourself and be with nature and the sea. It’s a paradise for surfing kites.

A great place for kite surfing instruction
Esencia is a wonderful place for kite surfing instruction. If you’re just learning how to kiteboard you’ll find the needed kite surfing how to’s and lessons here, or if you’re already a kiteboarder, you’ll love the variety of conditions available. Roll out of bed onto the beach and put your surfing kites into action. You’ll learn the quickest in this type of shallow and warm seas, where you can stand up when you need to, and you can stay all day in the water and still be warm.

Ideal setup for kiteboarding
We are ideally setup for kiteboarding with compressed air on the beach (no hand pumping!), two self-launch/landing pads so you can easily kite on your own, and a large sandy setup area. Esencia particularly accommodates kiters; you’ll find everything you need here to make your kiting vacation enjoyable.
